Hormone Therapy on Postmenopausal Women

Abstract
According to the latest published recommendations of the World Society of menopause, women under the age of 60 in the hormone therapy under definite indication clear not a big risk, do not need to limit the duration of hormone use.
Reduction of benefits as long-term hormone dose, but this is still the subject of controversy, could increase the risk of breast cancer risk, but that fraction of less than 0.1% increase every year, and breast cancer does not increase mortality. Most of the benefits of hormone therapy on postmenopausal women, hormone replacement therapy initiated during perimenopause or within a few years of menopause, for most women, potential benefits of hormone therapy given are many and there is little risk. Regardless of age, on stopping hormone therapy, there were recurrence of menopausal symptoms in 50% of patients and will lose many benefits.
Thus, early detection of the risk of hormone therapy through regular examination and inspection periodically will maximize the clinical effectiveness of treatment.
